EV Charging Levels
Did you know there are 3 basic types of EV Charging levels?
Level 1 - Typical home plugin to wall AC powerpoint (slow)
Level 2 - Home charger, hard wired to wall dedicated AC circuit (medium)
Level 3 - Dedicated DC equipment and charger (fast)
EV Charger Costs
Upfront costs are in order of level of charger, Level 1 cheaper Level 2 investment required in the charger and likely upgrade to your home, and Level 3 very expensive. Ie faster charging = higher cost to install and to charge the EV battery.
